The Company

BK International Education Consultancy’s mission has helped bridge the gap between workforce and school communities. We provide quality Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) training to teachers, parents, and organizations to increase student interest and achievement in these areas. BKIEC also provides grant writing consultation to organizations in search of acquiring funding.

Fellowships

BKIEC is offering part-time fellowships to graduate students or students in their junior or senior academic terms of their undergraduate degree.

The Fellowship Program offers:

  • Flexible schedule

  • Practice of learned classroom theory and concepts

  • Real-world, hands on work experience

  • Opportunity to grow with a grass roots organization
     

Salary

*This fellowship is a NON-PAID position. College credit may be offered depending on institution guidelines.

  • Social Media/Communications Fellow

  • Audio/Visual Engineer Fellow

  • Business Development Fellow

  • Instructional Designer Fellow

 

Qualifications

  • Must have a career interest in Marketing, Business, Accounting, Audio/Visual Engineering, Education, Communications or Non-Profit Management

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Internet and email

  • Highly self motivated, organized, strong attention to detail with excellent communication and time management skills

  • GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred

Course Instructor

Are you an enthusiastic and skilled classroom instructor who is passionate about helping other teachers? We want YOU to join our team! BK International Education Consultancy is offering part-time instructor positions to design and facilitate continuing education and training. BKIEC provides the flexibility for instructors to create their own lessons guided by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training standards. Instructors will also be required to attend planning meetings, training sessions, provide feedback about training implementation, and be evaluated by the BKIEC Director. Primary Responsibilities

  • Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer

  • Work with subject matter experts and identify target audience’s training needs

  • State instructional end goals and create content that matches them

  • Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface and the finished product

  • Conduct instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts

  • Apply tested instructional design theories, practice and methods

  • Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process

  • Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc)

  • Decide on the criteria used to judge learner’s performance and develop assessment instruments

  • Maintain learning activities and course documentation

 

Experience Requirements

  • Proven working experience in adult education, K-12 education, instructional design, and/or instructional technology

  • Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models

  • Advanced lesson and curriculum design and facilitation skills

  • Solid knowledge of course development software and at least one Learning Management System

  • Ability to write effective instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts

  • Desire to be an active member of an amazing team of dedicated and inspiring professionals dedicated to faculty continuing education and training

  • BS or MA degree in instructional design, educational technology or similar

 

Salary

Salary for this position is competitive and depends on relevant education and prior experience.
