Science Literacy & Composition

This interactive lab illustrates how to use writing to help students develop scientific literacy skills. 

 

Participants will be able to 

  • Define science literacy

  • Distinguish the difference between integrating
    literacy into science vs. integrating science
    into literacy. 

  • Develop science driven writing instruction methods that will help satisfy Common Core ELA/ writing standards

Assessment Criteria

To earn CEUs, the learner must complete and pass a final exam with an 80% or higher to demonstrate cognitive mastery of learning outcomes. 

CEUs awarded

CEU will be awarded upon successful completion.
