Project SMART taps into Youth Smarts

BK International Education Consultancy and STEM Compass, Inc. teamed up to host virtual STEAM camps for students in the South Fulton, Georgia area. Over the course of two weeks, elementary and middle school students were taught about sustainable ways to use science, technology, and math to solve problems in their own communities. Led by state-certified instructors, the children learned about SMART cities across the country and then developed and presented their own models for their very own SMART city. With interactive learning and small group instructional support, the group of students grasped and mastered concepts which they applied to their own designs and ideas.
